Our People

PDIR is excited to announce a change that occurred on August 9th, 2010. As you know, we were founded in 1955 by Y. Wayne Miller and the history of our company has included changes in ownership from Wayne Miller though to Bill Verona with several "mergers" and "acquisitions" in between that brought us to 2009. One of the most significant changes occurred in 2006 when we expanded our sales region to include North NJ and Metro NY. Some additional highlights included adding new people that helped us grow our business 10 fold since the early 2000s.

We now cover a large region here on the East Coast with an office in Clifton NJ as well has here in Furlong PA in the Philadelphia area. We have support and or satellite offices in MD, DE, NJ, Metro NY and Eastern PA. Our product base is unchanged with strong focus on field instrumentation including level, flow, wet analytical, and flame and gas products.

Our Principals, our clients, as well as our own people have benefitted with the changes we have made. We now have a new management team in place, with new leadership coming from John Kurtz, President, PDIR. He will work closely with the new management team consisting of Bill Verona, Bob Kluck and himself to set the path for future growth and stability at PDIR.

The new team will continue to include strong past performers that give us our strong foundation including Sheila D’Agostino, Bob Kluck, Joe Cardella, Ed Adams and myself. Our in-house staff in Clifton will still be Barbara and Walter Kluck. I have been involved with this business since 1983 and I do not plan to go anywhere in the near future. I will be here to provide continued support to the new team that will now include John Kurtz, as the newest member of the PDIR team. John has a very strong background in the engineering and construction community and has had sales and executive responsibility for many years serving customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, power, higher education and institutional markets. Working for companies such as Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Keating Building Corporation, CRB Builders and O’Brien & Gere he has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in sales and operations serving customers throughout the U.S., Caribbean, Asia and Europe.

We ask that you please welcome John. We can assure everyone that PDIR will be in an even stronger position to continue to provide the kind of products and support that we have set as a "standard" in the industry.
